Massage Services
For many of us, stiffness and pain are a way of life to which we become habituated, and it is often not until we receive massage that we realize just how tight our muscles are-and how much energy is consumed by tension.

Massage will enable oneself to be more relaxed and to experience the pleasure of a body that can breathe, stand and move freely.

Swedish Massage
Medium light pressure applied with slow sweeping strokes and kneading of muscles. Circulation is enhanced and tension will be released allowing one to become more relaxed. A very good way to maintain reduced levels of stress.

Therapeutic Massage
System of the assessment of and the manual application to the superficial soft tissue of skin, muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and the structures that lie within the superficial tissue of the entire body by using stroking, friction, vibration, percussion, kneading, stretching, compression or passive and active joint movements within normal physiologic range of motion. Also used is the application of water, heat and cold for the purpose of establishing and maintaining good physical condition and health. Any therapeutic massage starts with a full consultation, sometimes requiring a doctor's prescription and diagnosis or other therapist consultations.

Sports Massage
Treatment "Pre or Post" of an athletic event. Pre-Sports should occur just prior (1-1 ½) hr. before the event to set the muscles, ligaments, and tendons into a dynamic condition to enhance the body, and to trigger at its full endurance potential. The Pre-Sports utilizes slight stretching, friction, compression, along with active and passive joint movements. The Post-Sports massage is longer and is meant for the muscles to relax and elongate, allowing the tendons, ligaments, and muscles to recuperate faster so as to be able to compete again or continue to exercise with less rest time between athletic activity. Heat & Cool Therapy may be used in a Post-Sports massage.

Hot Stone
Using heated stones and incorporating them into a Swedish (relaxation) massage. The heated stones allow for deeper tissues and muscles to relax without the need of deeper pressure. This takes a Swedish massage and adds a more therapeutic touch to a realm of very deep relaxation.

Aroma Therapy
Using your sense of smell to trigger your mind to relax or become energized. This is done by using different percentages of 100% pure essential oil and diffusing the fragrance into the air to purify, refresh and energize your surroundings.

Reflexology
The use of massage and specific pressure points on the hands and feet will aid in sending nerve impulses to help relieve specific tension or pain to certain areas in the body. Foot baths and heated stones may be incorporated into the reflexology session.
